Just a few bits about me.......................
Besides having collected antique engines since about 1973, I have
tinkered in electronics, farmed for 7 years in north Iowa, was an
auto mechanic for several years, and operated my own small engine repair shop off and on since
I was 14.
In 1975, I was Iowa state champion Plymouth Troubleshooter (specializing in electrical and ignition systems), and went on to place 14th in the nationals in Detroit.
I do computer repair & consulting, and was a "Symantec support volunteer" in the Symantec support forums on CompuServe, and in their support newsgroups on the internet for several years.
Barbara and I share our home with our feline friends - Punkin, Misty and Shadow. Shadow just LOVES to give wet kitty kisses and happens to be the worlds cutest kitty. (he told me so)
From time to time, you may see or hear about our kitties as well.I'm a leading expert on Symantec anti-virus products (especially the corporate editions) and pretty good at their other products as well.
I told Punkin I may place a link to a dog site.
Looks like he won't mind.
Click the kitty to see more of his family. Now 2 pages!
I'm also a Music lover!
With total album sales of over 60 million, their timeless music has
flown around the earth in the space shuttle, and has been used on Baywatch
TV series. For 30 years this rock band has been performing concerts
around the world that draw crowds ranging from 80 years old, to young
couples with babies in arms, raising record revenues for public television
with their Concert at the Red Rocks.

If you like sing alongs, enjoy a bit of humor from "down under"
and know what a jumbuck is, you'll love Rolf Harris. Rolf really hit
the music scene with his smash hit "novelty" song, "Tie
Me Kangaroo Down, Sport". He wrote a unique Christmas song years
ago which has become an Australian childrens' favorite. He's still at
it today pleasing crowds with his cover of "Stairway To Heaven"
and his dance favorite, "Fine Day", with more remixes than
you can shake a didgeridoo at. Shown below is a younger Rolf as the
"man with the microphone", below right is a more recent shot
with his famous Stairway To Heaven wobbleboard (the instrument he "invented"
which is the unique sound in many of his tunes).
Rolf is also a famous artist, has done TV shows in the UK, has written several books and much more.
